Blanket Distribution Camp

Ramakrishna Mission in general and Ramakrishna Mission TB Sanatorium in particular have been serving the society in different stratas since its inception. And conducting relief camps at different places at different times based on the requirements and necessities of that particular area is one of the main services rendered by the Mission. As we all know, Ranchi and its surrounding places do experience very cold climatic conditions during the winter months. Keeping this in view our Sanatorium has been arranging Blanket Distirbution camps before the start of winter season regularly. Incidentally 06.10.2021 was birthday of Revered Swami Akhandananda ji Maharaj who was a pioneer of the relief services rendered by the Ramakrishna Mission.

This year also on 06.10.2021 Mahalaya Amavasya day which marks the beginning of Sharannavaratri, one such camp was organized by us at Lapung block which is about 55kms away, covering 10 different villages. 200 blankets were distributed at 3 villages namely, 1. Kalje 2. Ulgada-Tangratoli and 3. Chalha. Villagers from 10 villages converged at these places to receive the blankets which were distributed totally free of cost.
