National Youth Day Celebration 2024 @ RKMTBS

The 40th National Youth Day has been celebrated on l2th January 2024 in the premises of Ramakrishna Mission TB Sanatorium, Ranchi on the 162nd Birthday of the great lndian Yuganayak swami Vivekananda in presence of more than 1000 students, teachers and the devotees. Starting from Bermad school, Balsiring Road Tupudana at 09:00 in the morning the students and teachers from seven (7) schools viz. Mahatma gandhi School, Mother Teresa Memoriat School, St. Thomas High school, Vivekananda Middle School RK Mission, Sri Govind High School. Vivekananda Abhyudaya Prakalpa, and Gadadhar Abhyudaya prakalpa join the devotees and monks of Ramakrishna Mission to march in a long procession with posters and placards in hand on swamiji`s teachings & ideals to Vivekananda circle in the Sanatorium to garland the life like , statue of swami Vevekananda and offering of flowers in presence of the tune of Band by students. The students then proceed to the celebration mandapa wherein after the welcome address by revered Swami Satsanganandaji Maharaj, the Secretary, actively participated in the competitions organised comprising of brief speeches by the students on `Swamiji's life & teachings`, and recitations on `prabuddha Bharata` & `Swamiji's Swadesh Mantra` by the junior group ( Std. Vl-Vll) and senior group (std. VIII-IX) of students respectively. Group songs and cultural group dances were also perfomed by the students from the participating schools. Sri Kamlesh Prasad, Livelihood specialist of world Bank & Sri Abhaya Shankar, Rtd. Desitrict Education officer, West Singhbhum had been the special Guest and the Chief Guest on the occasion respectively. Top three winners of the competitions in each categories were facilitated with prizes along with consolation prizes to all contestents & mementos for the group cultural perfomers handed over by the presiding guests. The programme ends with the closing song by the students of Gadadhar Abhyudaya prakalpa (GAP) which was followed by distribution of cooked prasada in hand to one and the all present on the occassion.
